Why we exist
Hong Kong tax filings often look complete on the computation sheet while the cupboard behind them is thin: missing supplier invoices, payroll that does not tie to MPF, offshore claim folders with narratives but no bills of lading. Aiautomatehub was formed to examine that cupboard — calmly, on paper and in shared drives — before the Inland Revenue Department does.
We are not a general accounting firm and we are not a software vendor. Our craft is tax documentation audit support: reading source records against schedules, naming gaps without drama, and leaving finance teams with a file they can defend.
Origin
The practice began after repeated field seasons in which senior reviewers watched clients scramble for the same three document types — related-party agreements, bank interest certificates, and director expense support — only after an assessor’s letter arrived. Working from Entertainment Building on Queen’s Road Central put us within walking distance of many company secretarial offices and the professional firms that already handle computations.
How we work
- Evidence before opinion. We note what the documents show; tax-law conclusions stay with your adviser.
- Named owners. Every finding lists who should remediate it — client, tax agent, or both.
- Hong Kong context. Years of assessment, BIR forms, and IRD enquiry rhythms shape our checklists.
- Clear edges. If a request is really a statutory audit or a litigation brief, we say so and step back.
People
Engagements are staffed by documentation reviewers who have spent years inside profits tax working-paper rooms, paired with associates who catalogue and index. Clients meet the same lead from scoping through the closing walkthrough; we do not rotate anonymous “pods.”
Community & clients
We serve private companies, regional hubs booked through Hong Kong, and family offices that keep archives across Central, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Many relationships start with a single year of assessment and continue as a light pre-filing review each spring.
